55 Word Story
Cruising the web, I found this form of micro fiction mentioned at wikipedia, and found examples online at Nanofiction. There, the rules for the 55 word story have been listed as:
I just let my word processor worry about how many words is words...but this looks like a fun challenge. Here's on of the stories from the Nanofiction site, written according to these rules.
Stories can be about anything.
Steve Moss, sets down the rules for 55 word stories as such: each story must contain
the following four elements:
1.) a setting,
2.) one or more characters,
3.) conflict, and
4.) resolution.
Plus of course, the whole thing can only be 55 words long, not counting the title, which must be no more than 7 words long. (There are also some technical details about what really constitutes a word, but I won't bore you with those here.)

The Relentless Follower
by Andrew Looney
Two pirates shuffled down the leafy sidewalk, followed by a tall man wearing a suit. The man waited in the shadows whenever the pirates raided a house, demanding candy, but he was always nearby.
"Your dad's starting to give me the creeps," Eric whispered at last.
"Wait," said Pete. "I thought he was your dad."
Stories can be about anything.

Family Reunion.
Andy slipped in Kelly's blood and screamed like a girl.
Fuck.
The moaning began.

Harmless. --- unless they mob you.
I peeked through the blinds."We're surrounded," I said.
"And Kelly?" Andy asked.
"Yeah . . . she's with mom and dad, now."

“Refined Tastes”
Phone calls from “toy-boys” had been her candy --- sweet bits from sweet boys she'd kept a running flirtation with for years. Like chocolates, they were treats only, never a main course. A successful businesswoman like Brenda, made her own meals. --- that is, until Lucius.
She dialed her cell phone. She was thirsty. Lucius was ... wine.
